Nellie is an incredible person to work with. From the very start of working with her, she paid close attention to the way I typically like to style my shoots down to the last detail. Her attention to detail shows through the way she remembers exactly how I folded a models sleeves or pants and duplicates it for every shoot. She has a great sense of color as well — her color palettes are always spot on, especially with group shoots. Janelle styled my son DJ for new headshots for his talent agent. This was the first time I hired a stylist so I really don’t know what to expect. Janelle requested his size and some guidance around what the photos would be used for and took care of the rest! The pieces [clothes] she picked worked perfectly and I couldn’t have chosen better looks. She made sure to have a few options for the photographer to choose from. In my opinion every look was great! The way she can put certain outfits together (esp for little boys) is truly a talent! His look was fresh, original, yet very much so age appropriate. The agency loved how the pics came out and I def credit Janelle for her “sense of style”!

After graduating from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Marketing and Minor in Fashion Studies,I jumped right into the world of fashion. I started out by selecting pieces for friends and family, based on my perception of their personality and style. After countless requests to share my talents with others, I decided to become a professional Fashion Stylist.
